Master of Science (MS) in Applied Economics and Management (AEM) (4 full-time semesters，STEM)
MS in Applied Economics & Management 开设在康奈尔大学的Johnson商学院下的Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management，学制两年，STEM项目。该项目下其实有是三个学位，分别是MPS, MS和Phd, 而MS学位总体偏学术, 每月都必须参加 Applied Economics & Policy研讨会，并需要完成硕士论文和期末考试。而相对于MPS来说，MS学费要低很多，又是藤校，性价比极高。
该项目有四个专业方向让学生选择：
Food & Agricultural Economics (FAE)
Environmental Energy & Resource Economics (EERE)
International & Development Economics
Management (MGMT)
学生必须从中选择一个Major Concentration, 同时还需要从AEM以外的专业选择一个Minor Concentration.

AEM 6080: Production Economics
AEM 6120: Applied Econometrics
AEM 6700: Economics of Consumer Demand
AEM 7030: Required seminar
对于想向PhD方向做准备的学生，还可以修读以下课程：
MATH 2210: Linear Algebra
MATH 2220: Multivariable Calculus
MATH 3110: Introduction to Analysis
MATH 3230: Introduction to Differential Equations
BTRY 6010: Statistical Methods I
这个MS AEM的申请竞争激烈，每年大概录取15人左右。建议申请者本科修读过微积分、代数、统计学和计量经济学，以及中级宏观经济学、中级微观经济学。GRE必须提交。另外，该项目偏好招收有研究经历和有研究意向的学生。(申请PHD的学生有可能自动转到MS)项目的申请截止时间固定是12月15日，” Late applications will not be accepted!”
毕业生的去向方面，很多学生都会希望通过这个项目进一步申请知名院校的PhD, 因此学校对于最近几年选择继续读PhD的学生数据进行了统计：2022年6人，2021年10人，2020年7人，2019年6人。
